A Mom's Story
It all started with a love for gardening—and a desire to get my kids outside.
As a mom, I’ve always loved gardening. There’s something special about planting a tiny seed, caring for it, and watching it grow into something you can actually eat. But as my children got older, I noticed how easily screens, tablets, and video games could take over their free time.
I wanted to find a way to bring them outdoors, get their hands in the soil, and help them discover the excitement of growing something themselves.
That’s where Vegebuds was born. 💚
I started creating simple, fun gardening experiences that children could actually enjoy. Instead of simply telling kids to eat their vegetables, I wanted them to plant them, watch them grow, harvest them, and taste something they helped create.
Vegebuds is about more than gardening. It’s about putting down the electronics, getting outside, getting your hands dirty, and creating memories together.
Our goal is to make gardening easy and exciting for children—even if they’ve never planted a seed before.
Because when children grow it themselves, something amazing happens: they become curious about where their food comes from, proud of what they’ve accomplished, and often much more excited to try what they’ve grown.
